Mila is Hand-crafted in North Carolina by Camila Amortegui, a graphic designer and fiber artist. Born in Colombia she has always been inspired by her culture and all the artisans of central and south america. She became interested in fiber art from her mother who is also a fiber artist. Along with designing jewelry Camila is also the publisher and creative director of Blü Magazine. An independent international art and fashion publication. 

Mila’s first jewelry collection is characterized by the bold color combinations of each piece. The collection is offered in three different sizes to choose from; The Duster, The Midge & The Mermaid. Camila also makes custom sizes some as long as to go past the knees. 

Mila has been featured in Refinery29.com, OneMagazine, Creative Loafing, Blü Magazine and numerous blogs. 

Camila and her mother are in the process of collaborating in a line of hand dyed batik scarves.
